No one likes injustice. If a judge lets a guilty criminal go free, we scream injustice. Our conscience demands justice except when it's ourselves who are in the dock. But one day you will be in the dock of God's court as God "has appointed a Day in which He will judge the world in righteousness". How will you do? On that Day will He say to you "Well done good & faithful servant" or "Depart from me you worker of lawlessness, I never knew you"? How do you measure up to God's perfect Law? If you only lie once, you are a liar. If you've stolen once, however you trivialise it, you are a thief. If you've used God's name in vain, you are guilty of blasphemy & "the Lord will NOT hold him guiltless, who takes His Name in vain." It doesn't matter what good things you've done, you will be judged for your sin. After a speeding fine, it's no good saying to the judge, I drive safety most of the time, & stop for hedgehogs crossing the road. You are judged for the laws you broke. Because God is infinitely good, He demands infinite justice & will punish all sin wherever it's found. That's why "no thief, no sexually immoral, no drunkard, no slanderer, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven" & "all idolaters (who create in their mind a false god of their own liking who will turn a blind eye to their sin) & all liars will have their part in the lake of fire" But there is forgiveness. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." You committed the crime, but God with His blood paid the fine. That way justice is done & you can go free. To be forgiven by God, you must repent, that is confess your sins to God, & forsake them, & then trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross to save you like you'd trust in a parachute. It's no good just believing in a parachute, you have to put it on. & in the same way you have to put the Lord Jesus on. Please repent & surrender your life to Jesus today. 10/10 people die. You never know when it's too late. www.PuritanFellowship.com .
