Children's ESV Bible Recommendation.

William Tyndale once said "If God spare my life, ere many years I will cause a boy that driveth the plough to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost".

Now Tyndale was of course speaking against the Roman Catholic Church, 'thou' being the RC priesthood, who were fighting to keep both the average man and those in the pulpit ignorant of what the Scripture taught.
