Todd Bentley's Healing Revival, The Blaspheming Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Kevin Williams
Todd Bentley a 'Toronto Blessing' peddler, who claims he's had personal visitations from an Angel called Emma, (since when were Angels female?) and he's been in contact with the Apostle Paul who told him things that contradict the Bible, is the latest Charasmania Healing Revival on god-TV (or as I call it 'Anti-Christ Television' who's god is their belly).

Now I (author) do believe God does still speak today and in fact 'I'm getting a Word from God right now' and here it is:
Colossians 2:18: "Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind,"

So what's happening in this 'revival'? Are children being obedient to parents, breweries closing down because everyone's attending prayer meetings and Bible Studies, with masses of people crying out to God broken in repentance? Well actually no. What rather is happening is Charasmaniatic professing christians, are descending to Lakland, Florida to watch a circus.

Why don't these 'healers' go to the hospitals?

See for yourself about Bentley's healing 'revival' . Here are some links:

When was the last time you led someone to the Lord? Be very careful at this time because God does is very jealous of what he is doing! Many are coming to Christ because of the Holy Spirit lifting up Jesus. Brother examine your heart. What would have happened if Mary said to the angel that appeared to her - no thanks I can find anything about you in my book!

Puritan said...

Steve, the Angel that visited Mary said nothing that contradicted what had been already revealed in God’s Word.

You can read here: Todd Bentley’s ‘Emma’: Angel or Demon?
““Squawking like a chicken” and “barking like a dog” are attributed to the Holy Spirit by Todd Bentley. This is blasphemy. His “angel” Emma is the described in the same way by Johanna Michaelson, author of The Beautiful Side of Evil, in which demonic forces portrayed themselves to her as being full of goodness and light. It was only later that they revealed their true faces to her. These counterfeit angels are bringing further confusion on the church and promoting doctrines of demons, namely the idea that we need to see into the supernatural realm and that we need the intercessory help of angels. Hebrews 11 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen! But that won’t draw a crowd like these “manifestations”.”

But thanks for the death threat, it just goes to show where your heart is. And you prove this Scripture true, that's in 'my Book' that you seem to have little regard for:
Jer 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately sick;
who can understand it?”

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
We are living in a day and an hour in which satanic deception is so strong the children of God need to be full of the Spirit at all times so as to be able to discern evil when they see it, and when they hear it.....Amen

Since when, Angels are always male?

Anonymous,

In Scripture whenever an Angel is in bodily form, it always a male.

Hello.

I got trough the same things with demons pretending to be angels of light, matthew and one even pretended to be god... (These days more ppl you would thik of, do.)
But I got saved by Christ.
They will confuse humans as long as they can so always be careful!

I pray for Todd to realise what he is doing and Jesus Christ to forgive and save him.
AMEN

Please join in this prayer so he won`t cofuse more people than he alredy did.

First god creaed angels in his own image. Then man.
All of them are male though somes faces and behaviour are feminine.
I can say it cause I`ve seen so many fallen ones.
EMMA-O appears to him in female form simply because he is male...and so to play the "mother-role" to him.
Maybe cause he lived at his fathers, later, after his parents divorce.
They appear to and treat ppl like however they can start a -deep personal- relationship with them.
And at worst they claim to be christ himself.

Nailed. Death. Risen. - This is the real Christ.
Pray believing in this and who he is in the New Testament (Matthew, etc..) you will reach the real and only son of god.
The only way to GOD.

"2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (New International Version)

14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."

Todd praises the wrong image of Jesus and God.
Emma-o is known in other countries as "The King of HELL" http://www.godchecker.com/pantheon/japanese-mythology.php?deity=EMMA-O

Demons never change the name they used before. Cause even if you find out they are demons they confuse your head with lies about they have changed or the name is written differently.

Todd and all these people need help.
Please pray for them...

God bless you

Just some thoughts on the Florida Outpouring.

The bible says that Satan comes to kill and destroy. It also says he comes as a thief in the night.
We know that in the world there are two forces at work. Light and Darkness, Good and Evil. God created us and loves us, for this and because of this Satan hates us.

Many people complain that the revival is not of God, and some even claim that it is wholly the work of Satan. If that were the case one can reason that there would be no healing, and that there would be no miracles. Where in the bible did Satan heal or perform miracles to the benefit of mankind. Nowhere, because he come to destroy us.

We also know that man cannot perform miracles without the intervention of the Holy Spirit. In the bible there is one example of someone trying to perform a miracle void of the Holy Spirit, and that is in reference to the “seven sons of sceva”

Acts 19:13  13Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." 14Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15(One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" 16Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

So what happened to these men, it was not a good outcome, therefore it was not of God. Then if Man and Satan cannot perform Miracles then whom does that leave?

GOD!

God loves us and wants the best for us. It says so all over the bible

Romans 5:8 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Think about that, Jesus died for us even when we did not deserve it. So if God loves us then he wants what is best for us. If God loves us then he does not want us to suffer. If God loves us then he wants us to live life abundantly. This point is beaten into our minds over and over and over again throughout the bible.

Now about Bentley's talking about the Angel named Emma, and this angel being female. First of all do you know for a fact that there inst an angel name Emma, the bible doesn't really talk much about angels very much. But it does say that the number of angels is very great..

Matthew 26:53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
During the time when Jesus walked the Earth, a legion was composed of up to 6000 people. So 6000x12=72000 so we can assume that there are at least a bare minimum of 72,000 angels.

So if there is a great number of angels one can assume that they have names because the few of them that are mentioned in the bible most are mentioned by name, in fact Satan was an angel and he has a name. Who can say that there is not an angel named Emma. AS for their sex, how can you say that they are all male, the bible does not specify this. The angels in the bible have male names, but when God determined all of the names in the universe and assigned them to specific sexes... WAIT, God didn't do that man did! Maybe there are male and female angels, I don't know and neither do you.

So one last assumption, there are miracles being performed there because I know people that have been the beneficiary of them, including myself. My testimony is that I had De generative Disc Disease, Google it and read about it. Anyway I was healed through faith while I was watching the Florida Outpouring. For the last 5 years I have had trouble sleeping because it is painful, I was addicted to sleeping pills because that was the only way that I could sleep, I had to be careful what I did with my kids because I could really hurt myself. Ever since the healing I have had no pain, I sleep all night long
and I don't dose up on aspirin throughout the day to help deal with the pain. SO I WAS HEALED.

If the outpouring is really of God then it will succeed, if not it will fail. If it is of God then people will be blessed and Miracle will be performed, if it is of Satan nothing will happen and it will fail. So If I among others was healed of disease, and people have been raised from the dead, then it must be of God since Satan wants to destroy us. There is no benefit for Satan to heal or raise someone from the dead, in fact no where is it written that he can even do any of those. He was an angel and they were created for a specific purpose.

So what I am saying with all of this is don't be a fool, and put Gods love and power in a box. Don't be fooled by the world or by Satan's lies. If you doubt that something is real judge it not by mans word but by the word of God, and that alone. If it does not fit then it is a lie, if it does then it is the truth.
Instead of asking “Is this of God” you should be asking “Why is it not of God”

Hey trath, I am glad you got healed

BUT as it was posted on this site https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=5810641663628631969&postID=601365864946407427

Matt. 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Matt. 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

Matt. 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."

we have to be aware of false prophets!

Todd does great signs.
Todd does it trough his fallen angel Emma-O.
People who are connected to fallen angels can even do telepaphy, have great visions, always know what is going to happen and other things, even heal others (I can say that out of expirience, as I commented before, I just didn`t get into detail).

Don Gabriele Amorth, the chief exorcist of the catholic church, wrote in his book "Un esorcista racconta" that one time disease was given to a man so that he could learn something out of it.
He went to a magician and the devil healed him - the man never learned what god wanted him to learn, he never expeienced it, cause the devil took this disease.

If the devil wants to make people believe in Todd Bentley then he will make Todd heal people.
He gives those miracles to those wanting miracles like he speaks to those who search for god pretending to be god, so that they will never REACH god.

The devil uses human as god uses human cause the devil can just mimic god. He's mimicing anything.
Even healing.
Even Magicians can heal. Cause even the devil heals if he can steal a soul. If a magician heals he puts a spell over a spell. But it's no real healing.
For you I hope god healed you and that Todd Bentley had nothing to do with it. That it was your believe in God and Jesus and not your believe in Todd Betley.

God bless you

B.

Although well-intended , you have it wrong. Todd Bentley and Freshfire are not attempting to deceive the elect. They are not an anti-Christ organization. But that's what you imply. Is Todd deceiving anyone into becoming an apostate or to backslide or to reject Jesus or the Scripture? You cannot cite one instance of his having done so. Is he that slick that you can't tell when you are being deceived? Then you need the Holy Spirit's help more than you know. And please: Show me one instant where he has worshiped angels? Recognizing angelic visitations and help (such as when angels ministered to our Savior on several occasions) are a far cry from worshiping them. But most "believers" don't know the Bible well enough to know that the Father sent angels to that for His Son. God help your ignorance and lack of discernment and understanding.

Bentley Explains: On June 8, 2008, Todd Bentley posted on his ministry's website a detailed letter explaining a number of things that people are confused or stumbling over regarding the outpouring and himself, and in which he appeals for unity in the Body of Christ. We have found this letter to be solidly Biblical, balanced, well-written, and quite helpful. It can be found at this link: www.freshfire.ca/?Id=1059&pid=993

Biblical Scholar provides theological support: Dr. Gary S. Greig, PhD., former Associate Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Regent University School of Divinity, and Senior Editor, Theology and Acquisitions for the Regal Publishing Group, has written a theological response to questions and criticisms of the Lakeland outpouring. Dr. Greig recently wrote "Biblical Reasons to Receive God's Glory and Give it Away in Power Evangelism," so that as many as possible would receive "biblical permission" to get on board and fully commit to receiving the Lord's glory and anointing, and to give it away in power evangelism. You can find his paper at this link: http://www.freshfire.ca/UserFiles/File/drGreg_biblicalperspective2008.pdf.

I speak out against false teacher Todd Bentley and the needs for Christians to be warned and educated about the Word of Faith Cult in this sermon: Not Just An Opinion, But The Very Word of God-Kevin Williams

"In this sermon we look at:
-That the Words of Jesus and the Bible are not just another opinion as good as any other, but the very Word of God, absolute truth and should be treated as such.
-How the churches common stance of not speaking out and educating the flock properly and warning about false teachings, but instead insisting we only need to teach the good stuff and then people will automatically know the false, is unbiblical.
-Why it is wrong for Christians to have any association with false teachers like God TV, TBN, and the Word of Faith Cult.
-Approaching God’s Word with fear and trembling.
-What is wrong with Todd Bentley, Joyce Meyer and other false teachers."

Snowbunny said...

That Todd Bentley is a wrong prophet I understand but Why Joyce Meyer is I don't. (Yes, I listened to the record).
She doesn't say "I am always right" or that she exactly knows what GOD's will is, rather she says that she also makes mistakes often and in my believe she tries to help people with telling them about her own expiriences. She always quotes parts of the bible about the topic she talks about.

I just wonder.

Puritan said...

Hi Snowbunny,

Yes Joyce Meyer is a false teacher. Word of Faith/God TV is not just another denomination with a few erroneous teachings, but it is a cult that preaches another Gospel and another Jesus. As an introduction to the Word Faith cult, I recommend you watch (30 min) Justin Peters-A Call for Discernment-Video or mp3
