06-23-08 Update: Due to the many emails I have received about Doug Perry and time I have spent in prayer, I am cancelling my interview with Doug Perry of the Fellowship of the Martrs on June 27, 2008 and I have nothing bad to say about Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries and would still like to personally interview him if we can setup a date and time to do so.
I have learned that it is not up to us to judge one another and where someone else is in their walk with God and that just because Todd Bentely has tattoo's and is a biker does not make him a bad person. I know of many Christian bikers that have many tattoo's and I am one, but this does not mean I am evil. I think more people need to worry about themselves and where they are in their walk with God before pointing fingers at others.

Todd Bentley is a false prophet, teaching false doctrine, with another gospel and another Jesus, and is a lover of violence.

Jesus is concerned that we not have a critical spirit toward others, especially about their motives as to why they did something. We can’t assume to know another person’s heart; only God can. When we are unfairly critical, overly harsh, or unduly judgmental, we need to remember that God will use that same standard on us. I don’t know about you, but I need grace. So do those I love. I’m going to try very hard to be as gracious toward others as I’m trusting that God is going to be gracious with me.
Prayer…
Forgive me, Abba Father, for the times that I’ve been far more critical of others than I should be. Arouse within me a passion to be gracious toward others so that they can see your graciousness shining through me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

this is not the first man or preacher that has preached healing and anionting ,why are they saying he's a false prophet?and what does his passed have to do with the present ? we all were born into sin!and shaped in enquity the bibles says,is there a certain way we must look to be saved?what if jesus walked in your church with his worn robe and sandels would you ask him to leave think about it!

Thank you for clearly posting contradictions in this ministry - I should say cult. I went the through the Toronto Movement, and was deceived, and this is worse than that. I trusted leaders that led me wrong. Is there no discernment anymore?
People want so bad to believe God is working they will follow men and manufactured spirituality. It's evil.
Jesus is alive and well and working daily - just open your eyes, he is all around us.
Dear brothers and sisters
I greet you in the love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
I write to you to plead the case of Todd Bentley, our brother in Christ.
It has weighed heavy on my heart the different attitudes and opinions that fellow Christians have shown to Todd.
This morning I am reading the gospel of John and was once again reminded by the words of Jesus when He prayed to the Father on our behalf. “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:23b and also;
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
I ask you this, how is your criticism and condemnation of Todd demonstrating any of the above commands of Jesus?
It reminds me so much of the Pharisees who tried to find fault with Jesus when he healed a man born blind. John 9. In verse 24-25 “A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. "Give glory to God," they said. "We know this man is a sinner." He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!" and verse 33, “…if this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” Tens of thousands have been healed directly or indirecly as a result of the revival in Florida, and many have given their hearts to Jesus, bringing glory to God. How is this a bad thing? Look at the fruit!
I ask you again; who’s work are you doing; who are you glorifying by your words and attitudes?

I am just so scared about all of this. Is it from God or is it from Satan? Listening to the clip on this page, and the violence from Todd, I don't know what to believe. Sure, he could be possessed by a demon, trying to tear him away from God.
All that hysterical laughing is definately not from God.That frightens me. It could be Satan coming through, and he doesn't realise it.
I am desperate for truth, and have lopked at the likes of Colin Fry. I am not sure that this is truth either, although accurate. I think a lot of misleading can happen.
Regards to Jehova's Witnesses, I see them being the ones scoffed at these revival meetings, often by silence and a look that says it all.
This makes me wonder if they are the right ones, as no other faith, when spoken about, has the same reaction, from the revival teachers.
I know there is another life, after this one, but all these things confuse me, and make me just want to sit quietly, and see waht happens naturally.
I pray to be guided to the Truth.
When my wife passed away, without me asking, a lot of things happened to me, that were much more than coincidences. I don't know if these messages were from her or just another thing misleading me against the truth. They were nice, happy, and not in the least frightening. Christians would call this the work of Satan

I'm utterly gobsmacked (!) that ANY true discerning bible believing Christian could listen to TB and think he's anything but lost in a sea of self righteousness, arrogance and pride at the very least, or perhaps still possessed at worst. Those who warble about not judging others should think twice also - there is a major difference between judging others and discerning false teachers. Christians who think you shouldn't judge others, and weigh up their ministries in particular will be those who will be part of the current Apostasy scripture prophesied would hit "even the elect". I used to wonder how that could ever happen - now I know. Scripture ALONE must be your guide for discerning such leader's works, and if what they are saying or doing isn't found in scripture, then it is NOT from God. That's not to say that God won't use such ministries in His Will for some people for their good, but you will have no defence before Him, if you determine not to "judge" such ministries as utterly errant. What TB and his cohorts preach is nothing short of occultism mixed up with a grain of Christianity which for those in the audience who're deceived, sounds fine because they don't pay any attention to those (like us) who're trying to warn them otherwise. I've also come out of a hypercharismatic similarly errant church, and I can say 20 odd years on I'm STILL suffering from what was done to me there (I was ill at the time, but in their eyes, was possessed and thus had to have repetitive deliverances!!). Once again, all I can urge you all to do is to heed Paul's admonishment to "test the spirits" - TB has yet to preach the true Gospel in a meeting - all he preaches is occultism - you have been warned!! I have been most intrigued by this whole 'fresh fire ministries' saga and their 'Outpourings' (Capital O !) and have been waiting for the climactic self-destruct to happen...
Either I am sadly mistaken, or 'someone' with a LOT of clout has 'pulled' TB out of the limelight - probably because he has WAY overstepped his mandate to spread the most heinous and deceitful false teachings since the garden of Eden and more than likely because he has been hogging all the glory for himself. I am sure that his 3 angels, 'emma', 'promise' and 'winds of change' are not at all pleased with their puppet...
How much damage has been done remains to be seen, but thank God (the Father), we do all know how this will end.
