The Biblical Church-What The Church Is & Should & Should Not Be Doing-Kevin Williams

In this sermon we look at:
-How so many things associated with the church and are deemed essential today are just unbiblical vain traditions of men.
-The New Testament teaches believers baptism and not infant.
-The Word of God is sufficient for how we conduct church meetings, which means we don't need to go to psychology, secular education, entertainment driven fads & programs.
-The church is the believers themselves and not an institution, organisation or building.
-How if Bible translators had correctly translated the word 'Ecklessia'-'Congregation' rather than 'church' like William Tyndale did, it would solve a lot of misunderstandings and false teachings about what the church is.
-How church hierarchy's with one church overseeing another (except in an infancy church plant stage) is unbiblical.
-Denominations are unbiblical.
-That sermons should be Christ-centred and result in being doers of the Word.
-How a wife and mother's primary ministry is that she is a wife and mother, yet few Pastors actually teach how do this Biblically.
-The clergy and laity separation is unbiblical.
-Believers need to be committed to one another in a local fellowship, building one another up in Christ and serving and loving each other.
-That the Lord's Supper should be weekly and always in the context of a meal.
-Believers baptism is a requirement here to take the Lord's Supper.
-Eating a fellowship meal together is an important part of New Testament Christianity.
-What the gift of tongues is.
-The early church met in homes and there are no holy buildings in New Testament Christianity.
-If someone does not have a prayer life then they are not a Christian.
-How a Christ centred fellowship time is an important and essential part of a church meeting.
-The 'mega church' is unbiblical.
-How elder/Pastor-Shepherd/Bishop-Overseer are all the same position.
-The New Testament teaches a plurality of elders and today's single head Pastor system is unbiblical.
-Reasons why some people forsake the assembling of Saints... selfishness /they don't want to be under authority.
-If there are no Biblical church fellowships in your area then it's best to move house to where one is.
